Earlier in August, I found some bits of patriotism in me when I hung out a Singapore flag at my flat's window. Den, I was so glued to the tv in the SIM canteen, rooting for the Singapore women's table tennis team to get into the finals. I never expected myself to be so excited about the team Singapore's outing at the olympics.
Then, although unwillingly, I'm now a singtel mobile subscriber just to own one of these sexy thangs.
22 august, I went to the singtel comcenter branch for the '3-5pm appointment' I had made online. I had to queue like 2.5 hours, during which I was studying for my leadership and management test, before given a queue number.
Chose the white model after seeing the black being used as the sample testing phones, and while waiting for my queue number to be called, I observed almost everyone was getting the black one. The preference for the black model was so prominent that I was surprised to be presented a white box. Didn't realize the white one comes in a white box u see. It put me on Cloud 9 hence it's now called trv's froth.
The iPhone experience this far is marred by 3 dead pixels on the 1st set which was replaced with the current one.
There seems to be a lack of settings control for iPod on it tho. And I'm still exploring ways to customized my own ringtones and messafe alert tones which is really the suckier than having to practice my texting skills. Otherwise, I'm more or less set on sticking to this, hopefully the texting speed will improve. The typing if this entry isn't too bad. Basically, the trick is to not be too conscious of war you're actually 'pressing' as the software is pretty much effectively intuitive.
On 23 august, Yann invited me for her wedding dinner food testing. It was a buffet with an okay spread although it was lacking in variety for main courses. The theme for the buffet that night was seafood, which prob explains the limited main courses. Oh The Dinner is going to be held at Rasa Sentosa and will be an outdoor affair close to the sea. Lots of work to be done tho. I've been positioned as the chief wedding biatch. Stressed.
Meanwhile, it's going to get busy, with the endless projects, Esprimere, lifesaving club, and victoria chorale practices starting this coming Saturday. Hope the freelance projects come early and dun catch me stuck. :)
